Ski Program Starts Today!

After watching the snows of December melt and wash away last week, we were able to start today. Most of us skied and rode under a brilliant blue sky at Snow Bowl; some of us were cross-country skiiing at Reikert. Next week the downhill group will be at Sugarbush and Mad River, then back to Snow Bowl the following week. And so on every Wednesday afternoon as long as the snow keeps falling.

Students Donate Money Raised by Bazaar

Elementary students held their annual holiday bazaar on Thursday, December 20th. The purpose of the bazaar is to create an opportunity for students to buy presents for their family and friends at prices they can afford, and to donate the money raised by the bazaar to local service organizations. Families contribute used toys, books, jewelry, CDs, etc. to the bazaar. Students organized, priced, sold and wrapped the items. They then decided to whom to donate the proceeds. This year's bazaar raised a record of $129.35 and was donated to a dental fund for Mexican Farm Workers in Addison County.

Toby, Kellen and Jude work the cash register at the bazaar.
